Giants VS Eagles Preview/Prediction

The Giants have their biggest test of the season coming up this sunday in the Eagles.Behind a punishing defense and a steady rookie QB in Carson Wentz the Philadelphia Eagles are 4-3. They seem to be the one team that puts a whooping on the Giants. Since 2010 the Giants have only beaten the Eagles 3 times, and we have played 12 games. The Eagles are built to control the line of scrimmage on the defensive side. They have been extremely successful doing that against the Giants Particularly against the current offensive line. If the Giants are to stand a chance they have to contain Fletcher Cox and Conor Barwin. Barwin has seemingly been a one man wrecking crew against the Giants our entire O-line struggles blocking him as do many others. If there is a solid game plan for the combination of Fletcher Cox and Conor Barwin the Giants have a chance to win.

Carson Wentz the man the Browns said they did not view him as a top 20 QB prospect. Well the Eagles felt differently and they are doing well as a result. The Eagles have gotten their QB of the future in Carson and the sky is the limit for him. He has a 92.5 QB rating going into the half way point of the season. He takes care of the football and has a great arm. The good thing the Giants on their side is the bye week and 7 weeks of tape on him. The Giants have had the time and the tape to study him and learn some things about him to help the defense. The question is will it be enough. Darian Thompson has already been ruled out in what has been in injury plagued rookie season for him. Eli Apple is back and healthy which was a boost to the secondary in London two weeks ago.
