Giants Vs Bengals Preview/Prediction Week 10

Coming into this game at 5-3 the Giants are in a good position to extend their winning streak to 4 games. The Bengals present a myriad of different challenges. They have arguably the best receiver in AJ Green to go along with a capable QB in Andy Dalton. Their defense hasn’t been as strong as it has been in recent years but they are not to be overlooked. The defensive front for the Bengals is where they make their money. With Justin Pugh out there is a concern can Brett Jones Hold up? We need strong games out of the entire offensive line to get Eli time. Carlos Dunlap and Geno Atkins are some of the top defensive linemen in the league. While Rey Maualuga isn’t going to play Vontaze Burfict is always a concern. Hopefully he keeps it clean and doesn’t hurt any of the Giants players with an illegal hit. In the backend Dre KirkPatrick is an ascending corner and with George Illoka they make a great pair. Victor Cruz is on the mend he hopes to play sunday night. With a healthy receiving corps the Giants should be able to do some work against this defense. Granted Eli get the protection he needs.

The Giants defense is a top 10 run stopping unit. This will be critical to the success of the defense. They cannot allow the combination of Giovani Bernard and Jeremey Hill to get going. They also must make a concerted effort to stop to Tyler Eifert and Giovani Bernard from getting Yards after the catch. Everyone knows AJ Green will be the focus but the Giants cannot allow themselves to get beat up the seam or in the flats. The Bengals are coming off a bye so they had extra time to prepare for the Giants. The Giants are riding high off a 3 game winning streak this will be a good game.

Prediction
The Giants prove to be too much for the Bengals defensively. They finally find their stride for a full 60 minutes and get the run game going early. The team will rush for over 100 yards and pass for at least 250, enroute to a 4th victory.
